BVB boss Hans-Joachim Watzke, says that the Red’s magic manager is free to sign the players from Dortmund. Watzke confirms that Klopp is interested in bringing the £15m Serbian player into Liverpool.

Subotic, who is not happy under Dortmund manager Thomas Tuchel, is interested in joining Klopp in Liverpool. This was confirmed by the player himself in April, as he was heard saying

“I can imagine playing in a league which rates physical football. The game in England is tougher, more aggressive and more physical, and as a centre-back I don’t want to fear just touching an opponent”.

Subotic, who has played under Klopp in Mainz and Dortmund, is looking out for the reunion with his former manager at the Merseyside. It is crucial to know that the manager and the player have a very good relationship evident from the fact that Klopp was the main person to engineer Subotic’s move from Mainz to Dortmund when Klopp joined Dortmund.

However one of the main reasons that may stop the deal from starting  is the fact that Subotic is too injury prone, with 12 injuries in last 4 years that counts to nearly 88 games missed and 350 days on the sidelines.
