Simon Mignolet has had a roller coaster ride this season in terms of his career. A few flashes of brilliance marred with ridiculous blunders has confused the fans and manager alike.
Jurgen Klopp now thinks that Mignolet is way too inconsistent and cannot be considered at a steady first choice goal keeper unless he improves. If reports from the Mirror are to be believed Klopp has offered Barcelona second choice goal keeper Ter Stegen the opportunity to become Liverpool’s first choice goal keeper.
Currently Marc-Andre Ter Stegen is playing second fiddle in terms of goal keeping and is believed to be eager to earn his place in the German national team for the upcoming Euro 2016. It is believed that Barcelona are willing to let go of their second choice goal keeper but would like the deal to happen on their terms. The story reports that a £10 million offer has been rejected because the Catalan club values Ter Stegen at £20 million.
