Liverpool’s Champions League opponents in midweek have a couple of stars with injuries, according to Sky Sports.
Kylian Mbappe and Neymar had to be substituted during their respective international games during the break, and Paris Saint-Germain have confirmed the pair have injuries.
Sky Sports reports that both attackers underwent medical examinations with the French champions on Wednesday and Neymar has a right abductor strain while Mbappe has a bruised right shoulder.
The report adds that the pair will be under treatment for 48 hours before more tests are done. Mbappe and Neymar seem likely to miss the tie against Toulouse at the weekend, as per the report, and it is to be seen if they will be fit for the tie against Liverpool in midweek.
The clash between the pair could decide the fate of the group as a win for Liverpool will see us qualify into the next round of the competition.
The Reds beat PSG at Anfield 3-2 earlier in the season and we would need to be at our best when we play in Paris.
Liverpool are second in the group behind Napoli while PSG sit just one point behind the Reds in third. It would be great for us if both players are ruled out but we still need to be careful of playing in France, as we have seen in our loss to Red Star a few weeks ago.
