Liverpool have been handed a blow in their pursuit of Christian Pulisic as the National (h/t Express) claims that the American does not want to leave Borussia Dortmund.
Reports (h/t Express) had suggested that Pulisic could be sold by the Bundesliga giants next season with Chelsea and Liverpool interested in the 20-year-old.
However, the National (h/t Express) adds that the American winger is “grateful” for the opportunities presented to him by Dortmund and isn’t looking to leave.
Pulisic hasn’t been in great form for the Bundesliga side but he does have three goals and two assists this season.
The 20-year-old has helped Dortmund to the top of the Bundesliga standings and they are undefeated after 13 games.
Jurgen Klopp knows a lot about the player as the German was the manager of Dortmund when Pulisic was coming through the ranks. The American would be an excellent signing for us and certainly would fit Klopp’s playing style.
Liverpool spent huge in the summer window to sign the likes of Alisson and Fabinho, and hopefully, we will get a few more quality players in the team.

The Reds are in a great position at the moment just a couple of points behind Manchester City in the Premier League. Our next tie is against Bournemouth, and we could go top of the table with a win over the Cherries on Saturday.
