Juventus open to swap Paulo Dybala for Liverpool star Mohamed Salah

Juventus star Cristiano Ronaldo has told the club there must be an overhaul of the squad in the coming transfer window after the Italian giants’ elimination from the Champions League at the hands of Ajax, claim Italian news outlet La Gazzetta dello Sport.

The La Gazzetta dello Sport say Juventus want to pacify Ronaldo following their Champions League elimination by preparing to offer star playmaker Paulo Dybala to Liverpool in return for Mohamed Salah in the summer.

A rumour broke out very recently saying Salah fell out with manager Jurgen Klopp and threatened to hand in a transfer request. But the Egyptian winger’s agent has since dismissed those claims as rubbish and there is no signal from the Reds that they want to part ways with one of their star performers of the season.

But Juventus feel they can lure Salah away from Anfield by offering Dybala in return, adds the report.

Mohamed Salah staying at Anfield?

Salah has been a firm favourite at Anfield ever since he moved from AS Roma in the summer of 2017. He enjoyed a blistering debut season with the Reds and although he hasn’t hit the heights of last season, the 26-year-old remains a very crucial member of Klopp’s team.

Whether we win any trophy or not at the end of the season, I just don’t see our gaffer selling Salah to any club. It just doesn’t make sense for Klopp to part ways with one of his prized assets in the summer.
