Xherdan Shaqiri hasn’t featured for Liverpool in the Premier League this season and has asked not to be considered for international selection in September.
The Liverpool Echo adds that Shaqiri was not named for Switzerland’s Euro 2020 qualifiers against Ireland and Gibraltar.
