Preston North End want to sign Caoimhin Kelleher on loan from Liverpool
Caoimhin Kelleher has featured in two incredible ties for Liverpool this season.
The 20-year-old was the goalkeeper in our 2-0 win over MK Dons in the Carabao Cup. The youngster also kept the goal in our 5-5 draw with Arsenal in midweek, which we won on penalties.
Kelleher is behind Adrian and Alisson in the pecking order at Anfield, and the Daily Star claims that Preston North End want to sign him on loan.
Preston are one of the clubs aiming for promotion from the Championship, and it will be interesting to see how things develop with regards to our keeper.
Kelleher needs games
The 20-year-old cannot develop further if he plays only for the reserve side. Kelleher needs consistent first-team action and sending him out on loan is the perfect way to ensure his growth.
A move would also provide the chance to see how he does when under pressure.
Liverpool needed the 20-year-old at the start of the season when Alisson was injured for a while. However, the Brazilian is back for us and we have a great deputy in Adrian too.
The Spaniard joined Liverpool on a free transfer in the summer and helped us win the UEFA Super Cup too.

Alisson and Adrian should be good enough for the remainder of the season, and Kelleher should be allowed to leave on loan.
