Liverpool end Kylian Mbappe interest as they want Jadon Sancho
Liverpool have ended their interest in PSG star Kylian Mbappe for England sensation Jadon Sancho, according to El Desmarque (h/t Metro).
Mbappe has been linked with a move to Anfield recently, however, Jurgen Klopp confirmed that it would be difficult for anyone to buy the 20-year-old (h/t Metro).
The French attacker was PSG’s top scorer in the previous campaign and also helped France lift the World Cup.
Mbappe has scored 11 goals for PSG this season and also has four assists to his name, but the report claims that Liverpool have turned their attention to Sancho.
The 19-year-old left Manchester City to join Borussia Dortmund a couple of years ago. Sancho has blossomed into a quality winger and is a regular for the England team too.
The report adds that Klopp doesn’t want to miss out on signing the Englishman, especially since the winger has decided to leave Dortmund.
Liverpool face competition for Sancho
Manchester United are also keen to land the winger and could make a move in the January window (h/t Metro).
The 19-year-old already has four offers on the table and is interested in a Premier League return (h/t Metro).
