Twitter reacts as Liverpool break Premier League passing record
Liverpool beat Sheffield United 2-0 at Anfield to go 13 points clear at the top of the table, with a game in hand.
Mohamed Salah opened the scoring for the Reds and Sadio Mane put the result beyond doubt in the second half with a well-goal at the second attempt.
The scoreline flattered Sheffield as it could have been so much more if not for goalkeeper Dean Henderson who denied the Reds on multiple occasions.
It was another night to remember as Liverpool broke another record, this time for most passes made in a single Premier League game.
The Reds totaled an incredible 969 passes over the 90 minutes to beat the previous record of 942 held by Manchester City. (h/t Guardian)
