Brendan Rodgers denies Leicester City have approached Adam Lallana
Leicester City boss Brendan Rodgers has declared that the Foxes have not made an approach to sign Liverpool midfielder Adam Lallana, according to Mirror.
Lallana’s contract expires in the summer permitting him to leave the club as a free agent. The 31-year-old has been at Anfield since 2014 and has made 175 appearances, scoring 22 goals for the Merseysiders in his five and a half seasons at the club.
He was one of the players brought in by Brendan Rodgers during his stint as Liverpool manager as Liverpool prepared to meet the eventual sale of star striker Luis Suarez.
Lallana is free to discuss terms with foreign clubs for a summer move. However, he has to take permission from Liverpool in order to negotiate with any clubs in England. Rodgers insisted that he has seen the news and that Leicester have made no such move.
The Former Liverpool boss had in an earlier interview lavished praise on Lallana while insisting that the midfielder will consider his options. The midfielder has received considerable attention from a number of Premier League clubs.
