Alisson Becker showcases his skill on the strings amidst self-isolation

Liverpool signed Alisson Becker in 2018 for a then world-record fee for a goalkeeper. The Reds did not just get a top class player, but also someone who is talented off the pitch.

With the Reds away from Melwood due to the coronavirus shutdown, Alisson’s wife is making sure that her husband’s off-field exploits are brought to the eye of an adoring fanbase.

Natalia Becker took to Instagram to post a short story of the Liverpool number one strumming a tune as he brought to life the song ‘Shallow’ from the critically acclaimed Bradley Cooper move ‘A star is born’.

The Brazilian hit the right tone and has shown that he has an aptitude for music with his brilliant rendition. He had earlier showcased his talent in a video with Jamie Webster as the duo sang the catchy Liverpool song ‘Allez Allez Allez’.

A man of many talents!

Alisson has been a revelation since making his move to Merseyside. He won the Premier League Golden Glove in his debut season. He followed it up with the corresponding awards in the UEFA Champions League and Copa America. His extraordinary season saw him rewarded with the first-ever Yacine Trophy acknowledging him as the world’s best goalkeeper.

Alongside Virgil van Dijk, he has transformed the Liverpool defence. The Reds are now one of the stingiest teams in the division. One of our best signings in the Premier League era, he has finally put to rest concerns about what has been a troublesome position for years.

He has missed a number of games due to injury this season and his absence was keenly felt.

There is no doubt that the Brazilian is an incredibly talented individual. Assuming he does go into the music industry after his playing days, it remains to be seen if he can strike up a rivalry with Andrew Robertson.
