Liverpool legend Sir Kenny Dalglish participates in Keepy Uppy challenge
With almost the entire world on lockdown due to the Coronavirus pandemic, footballers have taken part in the #StayHomeChallenge, wherein they are trying to juggle a roll of toilet paper. Once completed, the players nominate others to participate. The likes of Lionel Messi, Marcos Alonso, Marcus Rashford, among others, have taken part in the challenge. And the latest addition to that list is Liverpool legend Sir Kenny Dalglish.
The Scotland and Liverpool great took part in the social media craze, substituting in for his daughter Kelly Cates, who had been nominated by Jamie Carragher.
Sir Dalglish performed the challenge but with a twist, as he tried to volley a roll of toilet paper into a trophy in his garden rather than trying to juggle it. And the 69-year-old had multiple failed attempts at pulling off the trick, although he did come very close on a couple of occasions.
Take a look at the video below:
.@Carra23 nominated @KellyCates for The Keepy Uppy Challenge but, in the words of Big Al, she was “diabolical”, so she asked me to do it for her. I think she might regret it a wee bit. @GNev2 I see you’ve yet to do yours. #StayHomeSaveLives #SoundOn pic.twitter.com/86YZIzQIEa

Sir Kenny Dalglish then went on to nominate former Manchester United defender Gary Neville for the #StayHomeChallenge. The 69-year-old might not have been able to pull off the trick, but it was great to see King Kenny in good spirits in these difficult times.
