Jamie Carragher and Sky Sports take the mickey out of Gary Neville
Liverpool legend and Sky Sports pundit Jamie Carragher is not one to slouch away from a fight. A no-nonsense player on the pitch, he has been anything but off it.
Following Liverpool’s emphatic assault on the league, the Reds are now the Premier League champions. The 19th league title in our illustrious history. It was too much to take for some, such as Manchester United legend and Sky Sports pundit Gary Neville.
Carragher posted a morphed image of Neville in a Liverpool jersey holding up a bottle of champagne. A throwback to the Englishman’s celebration of our loss at Watford.

Given the struggles United have had, we can’t fault him for celebrating a rival’s loss. Clearly his team cannot give him any semblance of pride that he has to go seek validation elsewhere.
Soon after Chelsea defeated Manchester City, Neville posted a waving emoticon on Twitter. A tweet that signaled him appearing to leave the platform. His employers Sky Sports got into the action as they posted a hilarious video of a trio of Liverpool legends looking for him.

The video showcased Jamie Carragher, John Barnes, and Jamie Redknapp all vowing to find Gary who has probably run away to Papua New Guinea.

It has not been a good year for Neville who has shown himself up as a false prophet. He predicted last summer that United would win the title before Liverpool. So much for that.
Given his troubles, the beaches of New Guinea should soothe the dread in him. He can also have a bottle of champagne as he suns himself. There is no dearth of Liverpool fans who can get him one.
Who knows, he may even run into Noel Gallagher.
