Bolton Wanderers manager Ian Evatt delighted with Conor Bradley loan from Liverpool
Bolton Wanderers manager Ian Evatt is delighted about having Conor Bradley on loan from Liverpool, according to Liverpool Echo. The 40-year-old manager is of the opinion that the Trotters and the Reds have a similar philosophy.
After failing to persuade the Merseyside club to let go of the 18-year-old in January, Bolton have got their man as the Northern Ireland youngster is set for a season-long loan in League One.
Evatt is pleased to get Bradley on loan and believes the 18-year-old is an exciting player. The English manager goes on to highlight that Liverpool have a way of coaching that the 40-year-old admires.
“The way Liverpool coach their players is the way that I want to coach our players and you can see with his understanding, the intensity of what he does, his work and the speed of what he does his work at is everything that’s engrained in him in Liverpool.”
Evatt is looking forward to working with the player because the Northern Irish youngster will be able to integrate into the Bolton managers squad seamlessly. This should not just land him regular playtime but also accelerate his development.
“So when he comes here it just comes naturally to him so I’m delighted with him, but I’m delighted with them all.”
A chance to develop!
The young right-back made his debut last season and went on to play five games for the side. Bradley was part of Jurgen Klopp’s side last season and played an important role covering for Trent Alexander-Arnold in the Carabao and FA Cup, which Liverpool went on to win.
With the U23 side, the 18-year-old performed superbly. Making 20 appearances for the youth side, Bradley scored two goals and assisted eight.
Liverpool signed Calvin Ramsay this summer from Aberdeen. The Scottish right-back is set to be part of Klopp’s squad for next season. With him set to serve as Trent’s understudy, Bradley has much to prove at Bolton next season.

With this in mind, fans feel a move to Bolton was the right one for Bradley. The Northern Irish star will find game time easier to come by in the League One side. Hopefully, he can come back a better player and fans can see him play again for the Anfield side.
