While a lot of transfer rumours do their rounds on the Internet, only some of them manage to catch the attention of the fans and cause some waves. When it comes to Liverpool though, it is not even a surprise to see some outrageous bit of news every now and then.
The latest news is that Jurgen Klopp has set his sights on signing Monaco sensation Kylian Mbappe. According to L’Equipe (h/t Get French Football News), Jurgen Klopp has held talks with the £100m rated France international’s representatives last month in an attempt to get a deal done.
As exciting as it sounds, a lot of us have actually lost hope on the club’s transfer dealings as we have of late struggled to get the transfers done. The reaction from the fans for this particular piece of information was something similar as some of them expressed their lack of belief in the club’s transfer ability. However, some of them felt that he was a one season wonder, and some of them not sharing the same view, claiming that the lad is immensely talented.
My opinion is that Kylian Mbappe is worth all the hype and will go on to become one of the biggest things in world football. We have all the rights to get excited about this one.
