Liverpool are close to adding another player to their ranks as long-term target Andrew Robertson has left Hull City’s training camp in Portugal, according to the Mirror.
The report claims that the 23-year-old is to finalise his move to Anfield soon and could join Dominic Solanke and Mohamed Salah as the new boys in the team.
The claim was further backed up by BBC presenter David Burns, who tweeted that Robertson has left the camp.

Hull City were relegated from the Premier League last season and the club has had a sort of fire sale where they are letting go of a number of players. Robertson was linked with a move away from the Tigers since relegation was confirmed and it seems like he will be the solution to our left-back issues.
A Need For A Proper Left-back At Liverpool
While we would have expected a bigger name to be signed for our left-back slot, Robertson did play 33 games in the Premier League for Hull and was one of their better players last season. The report claims that we would be paying £8million for the defender and that would be a bit of a bargain considering some of the bids being tabled in this window.
Nevertheless, signing a proper left-back should have been a priority for us in the window and if we do get Robertson for a cut price deal, it wouldn’t be the worst bit of business. We cannot have James Milner playing as a defender again next season, though the Englishman could be used as cover for a few games should Robertson need rest or gets injured.
Alberto Moreno is more or less a goner and it is only a matter of time before he is sold. In all probability, the Spaniard’s departure will be confirmed as soon as we sign the Scot from Hull.
Completing the signing of Robertson should pave the way for us to sign a couple of big targets. Should we complete those moves, this transfer window can be considered quite fruitful and it would set us up for a title challenge and more next season.
