Jordan Henderson is full of praise for Liverpool target Jude Bellingham
Speaking in an interview with Mirror, Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson was full of praise for talented Borussia Dortmund midfielder Jude Bellingham who has been linked heavily with the Reds ahead of next summer.
Bellingham has been receiving praise from around the world for his performances for the German giants and the English national team. He has been sensational on the pitch and only keeps getting better and better.
It is almost very easy to forget that Bellingham is just 19 years old. The talented English midfielder shows maturity beyond his age on the pitch and is arguably one of the best young midfielders in the world.
At such a young age, Bellingham is already hogging all the limelight with his actions on the pitch. The English wonderkid has been one of Bundesliga’s best players in the past season and a half and that is no mean feat.
Bellingham joined Dortmund from Birmingham City in a move that actually garnered a lot of attention for the wrong reasons. Birmingham City retired the jersey that the English wonderkid wore which threw the footballing world into shock.
A few seasons down the line, it is very easy to see how highly Birmingham rated their prized starlet and Bellingham is living up to every bit of the hype that was built up for him during his move to Signal Iduna Park.
Speaking about the player who has been heavily linked with a move to Liverpool ahead of next summer, Jordan Henderson was full of praise.
“I like Jude, I think he’s an amazing player. He’s a fantastic professional and his mentality is really key for his development. I almost don’t want to big him up too much because he’s still a young lad!”
It is almost impossible to imagine Bellingham staying at Dortmund beyond this season. He is undoubtedly too good for the Bundesliga and will want to prove his worth in the Premier League at a top European club.
