Primary Liverpool target Jude Bellingham to decide his future in the March international break
According to Talksport (h/t Liverpool Echo), Jude Bellingham, who is a primary midfield target for Liverpool, will decide on his future in the March international break.
The 19-year-old has been consistently linked with Liverpool, Real Madrid and Manchester City, with reports saying that the Reds have an upper hand in getting him.
Borussia Dortmund director Sebastian Kehl did insist that the German side will try and keep the England international for one more season. But, that looks highly unlikely at the moment.
The report also states that along with him making a decision in March, Liverpool are the front-runners to sign him even if they miss out on Champions League football next season. It shows that the player is attracted to working with Jurgen Klopp and becoming a legend at Anfield.
From the squad perspective, we all know the Reds need more than one midfielder to sort that area out ahead of the start of next season. The likes of Mason Mount and Matheus Nunes are linked, while Borussia Monchengladbach have reduced the price of another target Kouadio Kone.
Whoever else we sign in the summer, getting Bellingham will be the statement-maker. So, the right things need to be done to complete the move.
The former Birmingham City star can add energy, box-to-box running, goals, a high level of work rate and great quality on the ball.
At this age, if conditioned and developed well, Bellingham can be a world superstar for a decade to come.

If we sign him, he would be a perfect manager in Klopp to oversee the next stage of his development as a central midfielder in the modern game. Although all the stars are aligning towards this happening, let’s keep our fingers crossed till it actually happens.
