Liverpool and Juventus will reportedly join Arsenal in battling it out for Real Madrid ace Isco this summer. Real Madrid are currently enduring a torrid season under Zinedine Zidane and that has seen them fall well short in their attempt to defend their La Liga crown.

The Los Blancos trail league leaders and bitter rivals Barcelona by a staggering 18 points in the league, having played a game less. There is realistically no chance for Zidane’s men to catch Barcelona from here on and the team has now shifted its focus on finishing in the top-four.

With La Liga a distant dream now, Real are still in the Champions League but face a crunch test against a high-flying Paris Saint-Germain, who are on top of the Ligue 1 table. Following the disastrous performances this season, the Galacticos are looking to overhaul their squad that could see them sell some of their star players.

While Cristiano Ronaldo’s era at Madrid could come to an end, it is also believed that Gareth Bale and Karim Benzema could also be shipped out of the club.

Now, AS report that Isco could also be deemed surplus to requirements at the club, with a host of Premier League clubs vying for the playmaker’s signature after the end of the season. It is believed Zidane is very disappointed with Isco’s performances this season and that, if he stays beyond the current campaign, the manager’s intention is to replace the midfielder.

The report adds that Liverpool are interested in the Spaniard alongside the likes of Arsenal, Manchester, Juventus and Bayern Munich.

If Isco were to leave Bernabeu in summer, should Jurgen Klopp attempt in signing the player? Of course, yes!

The Spaniard, although has been underwhelming this season for Real, is a special player capable of producing magical moments. The sale of Philippe Coutinho has somewhat left a void in our team and Isco is the perfect player to fill it at Anfield.

Isco is crafty, creative, inventive, with an eye for the goal- a midfielder with top qualities which Klopp would love to have in his team. The Spanish international would also be an upgrade on our current crop of midfielders and would make us look much better and sleeker.

However, there would be little doubts over how Isco would adapt to the high-intensity football played under Klopp and the physical demands attached to the Premier League. Slight question marks remain over his adaptability in England but if he adjusts well and early, Isco could be a gem of a signing for our club.
