The Netherlands won UEFA EURO Qualification Grp. B Round 8 fixture against Greece with Liverpool skipper Virgil van Dijk scoring a penalty to hand Ronald Koeman’s side a win. The Greeks had in their lineup Liverpool left-back Kostas Tsimikas as well while Cody Gakpo did not feature for Koeman’s men due to injury.

It was a penalty in extra time that handed Oranje the win. Following the game, Cody and Virgil reacted to a post by Tottenham star Micky van de Ven who made an appearance off the bench to partner Virgil in the backline.

Post full-time, Van de Ven took to Instagram to post about the result and the comments saw Virgil and Cody congratulating the 22-year-old.
