Jurgen Klopp is aiming to end his Liverpool career on a high note by winning the Premier League for the second time this season.

Liverpool are predicted to pip title rivals Arsenal and Manchester City to glory this season as the Premier League returns following the international break.

The Reds enter their clash against Brighton and Hove Albion on Sunday looking to banish any disappointment still lingering from the 4-3 FA Cup quarter-final defeat to Manchester United. Jurgen Klopp’s side are still battling on two fronts this campaign and have already secured the Carabao Cup, sending supporters into a frenzy over .

Heading into this matchday, Liverpool sit second in the Premier League table only behind leaders Arsenal on goal difference. City are one point behind the top two but that gap could shift dramatically this weekend.

Following the match at Anfield, Pep Guardiola and Mikel Arteta meet at the Etihad Stadium. If there is a winner, they will undoubtedly become the favourites to win the league.

However, if there is a stalemate, Liverpool will be in the driving seat, especially if they can beat Roberto De Zerbi’s men. Before the weekend’s action, Net World Sports launched a new Supercomputer to predict the final outcome of the Premier League.

According to their study, Liverpool are set to win the Premier League by a single point more than the Gunners and City. They are forecast to finish on 85 points with their probability of winning the title sitting at 38.8 per cent, a 3.7 per cent increase in their chances from the end of February.

With the margins so tight at the top, there is plenty of room for error which is shown in Arsenal’s percentage chance of 35.2 per cent and City’s at 26 per cent. What appears to be guaranteed is that the title race will boil down to the final day of the season.

The Reds will host Wolverhampton Wanderers on Sunday, May 19, Arsenal shall welcome Everton to the Emirates Stadium and City will face West Ham United at home.
