Paulo Dybala

Juventus landing Cristiano Ronaldo could open the door for Paulo Dybala to join Liverpool, according to Tuttomercatoweb (h/t ESPN).

The Italian giants have been linked with a move for the Real Madrid superstar and we have already enquired about the availability of the Argentine attacker.

Dybala was criminally underused by the South American side at the World Cup despite scoring 22 goals and providing 5 assists in just 33 Serie A games last season.

The report also claims that if we are to get the 24-year-old from Turin, we would have to fork out close to £140million.

Dybala made one substitute appearance for Argentina in Russia and played just 22 minutes. The 24-year-old can play anywhere across the frontline and can even take up the role of an attacking midfielder.

An incredible deal if we can pull it off

Jurgen Klopp has been looking to add another attacker to this Liverpool side, with us being linked with Xherdan Shaqiri and Nabil Fekir.

While we have not completed deals for the pair, Dybala could turn out to be the costliest player of the three. But he is top quality and could be the marquee signing of the summer.

Spending £140million on the Argentine makes sense given what he can bring to the side and if we can guarantee him a starting spot in the team, we will possibly have the best attack in Europe.

Dybala playing behind the likes of Mohamed Salah, Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane would be a dream come true for Liverpool fans and it will be interesting to see just where this goes as Ronaldo looks to join the Italian giants.
