Liverpool could land Juventus prospect Dean Huijsen for £25m

According to Tuttosport, Liverpool could land Juventus’s rising star Dean Huijsen in the ongoing 2024 summer transfer window. The Bianconeri are ready to sell and the youngster could be signed for a mere £25 million.

With Joel Matip having left, the Reds need to bring in another centre-back to fill the void. However, a starting spot at Anfield is far from certain, meaning Liverpool are better off bringing in a prospect who is okay with being rotated while being integrated for a larger role in the future. Having missed out on Leny Yoro, it would appear the Reds have now zoned in on Huijsen.

Huijsen’s impressive loan spell at Roma last season saw him feature 13 times in the league, scoring twice, and contributing to a solid defensive record with only two losses during his appearances.
