Liverpool are keen to retain Caoimhin Kelleher for the 2024-25 season

Liverpool are preparing for the upcoming season with Caoimhin Kelleher still in their ranks. The Reds have placed a valuation of around £25-30 million on the talented goalkeeper but are inclined to keep him at the club. Despite this, Liverpool’s resolve has not yet been thoroughly tested by other clubs.

Unless an unprecedented offer comes in the next few weeks, Kelleher is expected to remain at Anfield for the following campaign according to The Athletic [Subscription Required]. This will undoubtedly be fantastic news for Liverpool supporters, who have seen Kelleher deliver solid performances whenever called upon.

If Kelleher stays, Liverpool will likely need to resolve Jaros’ future, potentially seeking a loan move for the young Czech to ensure he continues to get valuable playing time. However, the best solution would be to retain him as the third choice in place of Adrian.
