Major Contract Incoming?

On their first Champions League night of the season, Liverpool had an impressive comeback after going 1-0 down to Christian Pulisic‘s third-minute goal. Arne Slot’s side rallied and secured a convincing 3-1 victory over AC Milan.

Alexander-Arnold showcased his quality once again by delivering a pinpoint free-kick assist for Ibrahima Konate, while Van Dijk and Dominik Szoboszlai added to the score after Christian Pulisic initially put Milan ahead.

Following the match, Alexander-Arnold praised Arne Slot, indicating that the head coach may play a crucial role in his decision to remain at Liverpool. “I was really excited to work with a new manager,” Alexander-Arnold said, reflecting on his experience under Slot.

The Englishman has made an impressive 230 appearances for Liverpool and currently earns £180,000 per week. In a recent interview with The Times, he expressed his desire to finish his career at the club.

What The Englishman Had To Say For His Future

Despite the ongoing speculation, Alexander-Arnold has consistently expressed his dedication to Liverpool, indicating his desire to remain with the club for his entire career. His deep connection with the club and its supporters is evident, and he harbors ambitions of one day becoming the team captain.

“There is nowhere else I’d rather be than Liverpool. Somewhere I want to stay for the rest of my career is Liverpool,” Alexander-Arnold said. “It’s what I’ve always dreamed of. Liverpool are special.

“It’s completely down to the fans. Whether we are winning or losing we always have their love. I want to become captain one day. That’s definitely a dream of mine.

“I hope with dedication, the right advice, and the hard work that still needs to be put in that one day I might achieve that dream of becoming captain, something that I and my family will be very proud of if it comes.”
