Liverpool have kicked off the season impressively, boasting an almost flawless domestic record. However, they did encounter a major setback in their match against Crystal Palace when Alisson suffered an injury.

With backup goalkeeper Caoimhin Kelleher unavailable due to illness, third-choice shot-stopper Vítězslav Jaroš stepped in and successfully kept a clean sheet, helping the Reds secure a vital 1-0 win.

Turning attention from the team’s success to a fan-favorite, Wataru Endo, the Japanese midfielder enjoyed moments in the spotlight last season. However, this campaign has seen him struggle to make an impact.

With just four appearances under his belt and no goals or assists to his name, Endo has yet to hit his stride, leaving fans to speculate that Endo is to be sold coming winter window.

According to sources from CaughtOffside, Liverpool are reportedly open to receiving transfer offers between €15-20 million for Japanese midfielder Wataru Endo who is earning £50,000 per week.

The player himself is said to be open to a move, especially if it means joining a club where he can secure regular playing time. Endo, who has struggled to cement a starting role at Anfield this season, may be looking for opportunities elsewhere to regain form and consistency.

What the future holds for the Japanese?

Ipswich Town, Fulham, and Wolves are closely watching Wataru Endo’s situation as reported by Caughtoffside as the January transfer window approaches. The 31-year-old midfielder appears unlikely to be a key figure in Arne Slot’s squad and is open to moving to a team where he can secure regular playing time.

It will be interesting to see which club can offer him that opportunity and if any are willing to meet Liverpool’s asking price of around €15-20 million for a player who will turn 32 later this season. Marseille also notably had a bid rejected for Endo in the summer, with the Merseyside giants turning down €14m for the player at that time.

Endo has demonstrated enough quality during his brief stint in the Premier League to attract interest from several clubs. However, they are unlikely to spend too much on a player who may not represent a long-term solution. We shall see what the future holds for the CDM.
