Liverpool have endured a difficult time in the transfer market after having made only one signing since Arne Slot took over the reins at L4, however, the Reds are about to change that as they fortify on going aggressively in the transfer intervals to follow in 2025. The club is already laying off a blue print for the windows, and Egyptian sensation Omar Marmoush has been linked with a move to Anfield Stadium.

The Dutch head coach doesn’t have a particular liking for Darwin Nunez, as we have seen in the minutes that the Uruguayan has aggregated under his belt since the former Feyenoord coach took charge of the reins at Merseyside. He has preferred to play Diogo Jota in the central role, owing to the Portuguese’s mobility up front, complemented by his clinical performance in front of goal. And while he does so, Slot has been lurking around the market finding his new number nine, and he has landed up on Eintracht Frankfurt striker Omar Marmoush.

The 25-year-old has taken massive strides since his move to the German outfit from VfL Wolfsburg in July 2023, and he has started the 2024/25 campaign on a high as Omar already boasts 15 goal contributions in the new season. He has netted nine goals and provided a further tally of six assists in nine appearances in all competitions this season. This form has attracted interest from around Europe and especially from the Premier League.

West Ham could surprise in Marmoush race

The Reds Premier League rivals Arsenal have been looking at the possibility of signing him, while Liverpool are already pondering a possible opening offer of €60 million to test Eintracht Frankfurt’s resolve on keeping hold of the 25-year-old. And while they do so, another English top-tier side, West Ham, have expressed interest in landing the Egypt international.

However, per Sport Bild, as relayed by Sport Witness, the player is more keen on moving to Anfield Stadium rather than joining East Londoners.
