When discussing Liverpool legends, former manager Jürgen Klopp’s name will always come up. The German tactician guided Liverpool to a Premier League and Champions League triumph, among an impressive eight-trophy haul during his nine-year reign at Anfield.

Jurgen Klopp backed to make stunning return to England in a Championship role.

Though Klopp was expected to take an extended break from management following his time at Liverpool and Borussia Dortmund, he recently joined the Red Bull group as ‘Head of Global Soccer.‘ However, it now seems a return to coaching may be on the horizon sooner than anticipated.

Jurgen Klopp linked to sensational management return

In his new role with Red Bull, Klopp will oversee the company’s various footballing ventures across three continents. According to a Red Bull statement, his position will focus on providing “strategic vision” rather than day-to-day management.

The Red Bull group also holds minority stakes in several European clubs, most recently acquiring a share in Leeds United. Reports suggest the company could soon become the majority owner of the club, further expanding their influence in football.

Speaking to Football Insider, football finance expert Stefan Borson speculated that the partnership could one day open the door to Klopp taking over as manager at Elland Road, depending on certain criteria being met.

“As far as I have seen, it [Klopp to Leeds] not been talked about as being part of the role,”

“I suspect that’s because they don’t own enough of Leeds. But that could change over the next couple of years if this role lasts for a lengthy period. They may have acquired more of Leeds by that point and then he [Klopp] probably would be more involved.”

The Other German manager Daniel Farke has faced increasing scrutiny regarding his future after failing to secure promotion to the Premier League last season, falling behind Leicester City, Ipswich Town, and Southampton in the race.

Although a move for Jürgen Klopp seems like little more than a pipe dream at this stage, dismissing the possibility is difficult, especially with Red Bull rapidly expanding its influence in the sporting world. We can never forget what the German did for us and his incredible achievements. While some may call him a snake, only true Liverpool fans understand his legacy and what he brought to the club.
