Liverpool have been looking at potential wide players for their right flank as they prepare for the possibilities of life without Mohamed Salah, who has been linked with a move away from Anfield Stadium as his contract at L4 comes to its conclusion at the end of the ongoing campaign.

While the chiefs at Kirkby would prioritise handing their Egyptian messiah a new contract and ensure that the former Chelsea wide forward continues his legacy run donning the Reds badge. That being said, Liverpool have started looking at players who can replace the 32-year-old, with Borussia Dortmund winger Karim Adeyemi among the first names on the list at AXA Training Centre.

The Merseysiders are said to be serious contenders for Dortmund wide forward’s signatures; however, in turn of events, Italian giants Inter Milan have also entered the race to sign the 22-year-old winger as they look to fortify on their longstanding interest to bring Adeyemi to San Siro, per InterLive.

Liverpool face Inter competition for Adeyemi

Karim Adeyemi is one of the talents who will keep you on the edge of your seat every time he gets the ball. He is not only pacey but also has the tenacity to break defensive lines and dribble his way out of opponents tactics. And someone like that is expected to thrive at Anfield Stadium if Liverpool does eventually sign him.

That being said, it will be difficult to snap his services from Dortmund, who will ask for hefty fees (at least €50 million) for the 22-year-old’s services. This could play in the Merseyside Reds hands, as Inter cannot afford to spend such big bucks unless they find a way to raise funds with substantial sales.
