Liverpool had a difficult summer transfer window where the Reds barely signed their first-choice players, forcing Arne Slot to walk into his first season at Anfield Stadium with the majority of Jurgen Klopp’s inherited squad. And the chiefs at the AXA training centre are looking to set their wrongs right with strong windows in 2025, and they have already started laying blue prints for the windows.

The Reds have been keeping a close eye on the Premier League as they look at Facundo Buonanotte’s progress at Leicester City alongside Manchester City ahead of a potential move in the upcoming summer window, per Fichajes.

Liverpool eyes Buonanotte move after impressive form

Many were left surprised when Brighton decided to loan out Buonanotte to Leicester City given how impressive he had been when given minutes donning the Seagulls badge and given how they have been top notch with their recruitments. Another of their talents is expecting to read massive rewards, be it on the pitch or in the bank account.

The decision to send him to the Foxes has paid off, as the 19-year-old has been playing some exquisite football for his temporary employers. His solitary goal was critical for Leicester to hand them all three points over Bournemouth, and last weekend he had another strike that helped Steve Cooper’s side achieve another win (3-2) as the Argentine continued his attacking form.

And Liverpool have been following his progress to see if they should make a move for him next summer.

Brighton are expected to ask for a figure around at least €30 million for the 2004-born attacking midfielder.

Liverpool as well as Manchester City have been linked with Ukrainian maestro Georgiy Sudakov, and Facundo Buonanotte could be a cheaper alternative that the clubs can consider.
