Liverpool endured a difficult summer transfer window as Arne Slot entered his first season at Anfield Stadium with Jurgen Klopp’s inherited squad. However, going into the summer window, the chiefs at Kikrby are already looking to create a blueprint for 2025 transfer intervals that can hand the Merseysiders a marginal advantage.

Looking to pounce on the talents available in the market, the Reds are looking at possibilities to sign highly regarded 20-year-old Spanish centre-forward Samu Omorodion, per Fichajes

Liverpool’s summer transfer plans could include Omorodion

Omorodion, at the moment, is one of the most highly rated talents in the number nine role and was subject to aggressive links with Chelsea in the recently concluded summer window; however, the move did not go through, and now the Merseyside Reds are looking to take advantage of his availability.

Liverpool’s new head coach has preferred to play Diogo Jota in the number nine role as he uses his mobile profile to get behind defensive lines, and his clinical output has been critical at multiple moments in the young season. The Dutchman has demoted Darwin Nunez to a bit-part role, and that has speculated with links of the Uruguayan with a move away from Anfield Stadium as Slot looks to bring in a new face to lead the line.

While the Reds have been linked with Eintracht Frankfurt’s striker Omar Marmoush, Slot is also looking at a possibility to bring Samu Omorodion to L4.  Alongside Liverpool, Premier League title contenders Manchester City are also said to be vying a move for the 20-year-old.
