With Liverpool veteran wide forward Mohamed Salah linked with a move away from Anfield Stadium, the Merseysiders have already started looking at possible players that can replace the Egyptian international at L4.

The 32-year-old has his contract at Merseyside Reds coming to a conclusion at the end of the ongoing season, and there are real possibilities that he will not renew his deal and will look for challenges away from the English top-tier. Saudi Pro League clubs have already approached the player, and French giants Paris Saint-Germain are also among the clubs linked.

While Arne Slot ponders getting his right-wing right, he has started to make plans for his left flank.

The chiefs at Kirkby are looking to bring Napoli wide forward Khvicha Kvaratskhelia to L4, if he were to leave in the upcoming summer, as they look to take away the club’s reliability on Luis Diaz from that left side, per an exclusive from Graeme Bailey on TBR.

Napoli are not ready to lose the Georgian in the same way as they did with Victor Osimhen, and they are willing to sanction a sale if a significant offer were to arrive in winter or summer. And Premier League heavyweights and rivals Arsenal are looking to make a move for the Napoli winger in 2025.

Khvaratskhelia’s contract at Napoli expires in 2027, and at the moment he is one of the lowest-paid players in their squad. That being said, he is in line for a new contract that could have a release clause in the region of £100 million.
