Liverpool are currently one of the best-performing clubs globally, having undergone a transformation under the Dutch manager Arne Slot. Slot has given players who struggled for opportunities under Jürgen Klopp a chance to shine, and Curtis Jones has made it tough for Slot to drop him from the starting line up. The midfielder has shared the key reasons behind his impressive form.

Jones’ season was initially hampered by injury, but he has gradually found his rhythm, stepping up behind the regular midfield trio of Ryan Gravenberch, Alexis Mac Allister, and Dominik Szoboszlai.

Despite a slow start to the season, Jones has started in six of the last eight matches, contributing with one goal and two assists, earning well-deserved praise for his performances.

Jones had expressed his enthusiasm for Arne Slot’s style of play during pre-season, and now he has highlighted how well it suits him. He also spoke about the “love” he has received from the manager, which has allowed him to flourish in the current setup.

Curtis Jones is enjoying what he has going on right now

“Arne and his staff have come in and the style of play and everything is changing – the way we go and press and stuff. I think it suits me more. As a fresh start, I’ll give it everything I can.”
