Liverpool eyeing 2025 move for Christian Pulisic
Liverpool star Mohamed Salah’s future is yet to be clarified. The Egyptian international is in the final few months of his contract at Anfield and has been tipped to depart for Saudi Arabia next summer amid developments that there remains some distance between what the club is offering him and what he seeks in the event of a contract renewal.
Given his importance to the team and what he has achieved over the last few years, Salah will need to be replaced by a capable new player. That goes without saying even if his contract were to be renewed as he would turn 33 next year. So with that in mind, the Reds are preparing to attempt for Christian Pulisic’s signing from AC Milan, as per ESPN UK.
Though the Rossoneri include him firmly within their plans for the near future, there is hope that a £50 million offer could compel them in getting rid of Pulisic. Manchester United are also said to be keen on his signing with newly appointed head coach Ruben Amorim looking to stamp his own authority on the squad, especially in the offensive department,
Pulisic has taken giant strides since joining AC Milan from Chelsea, though it would be unfair to write off his career at Stamford Bridge where he was a success as well. Having featured extensively in the Premier League and developed further thereafter in an incredibly defensive league, he could be the all-round attacking product Liverpool need to replace Mohamed Salah.

Having said that, the American international is a very versatile player too. He can play on either flank, occasionally as a striker or secondary man behind the number nine, in addition to being a capable attacking midfielder as well. It will be interesting to see what comes of his future with United also keen, though Liverpool’s attractive project could give them the lead in possible talks.
