Robertson responded emphatically to recent criticisms, showcasing his leadership and technical skills for Scotland, building on his Aston Villa performance. These consistent performances follow a period of scrutiny after his display in Liverpool’s 2-2 draw with Arsenal at the Emirates.

The 30-year-old created two key passes, delivered six accurate long balls, and produced one accurate cross to support Scotland’s attack. Additionally, Robertson completed every dribble he attempted, reinforcing his ability to bypass defenders and create opportunities.

In the defensive phase, Robertson won two ground duels, demonstrating grit and determination in midfield battles against Poland’s pressing. He also excelled aerially, winning 100% of his aerial duels and ensuring stability in key moments. Furthermore, the Scotland captain made one clearance to fulfil his defensive duties for the team.
