Here are the stadiums Liverpool are going to visit on away days in the 2022/23 season:
The Emirates Stadium – Arsenal
Location: Hornsey Rd, London N7 7AJ, United Kingdom
Capacity: 60,260
Arsenal have been one of the most successful sides in England. The Emirates Stadium replaced Highbury in 2006 as the Gunners’ home ground.
The Emirates has, over the years, witnessed some exciting moments when Liverpool visited the stadium. The Reds’ last 5 visits have yielded four wins and a loss.
Villa Park – Aston Villa
Location: Trinity Road, Birmingham B6 6HE
Capacity: 42,682
Villa Park is home to the Claret and Blues. The Holt End is a loud section of the stadium with fervourous supporters.
Aston Villa were one of the founding members of the league. So the history behind the club and the stadium is substantial. The support behind the club is enormous. Liverpool have a pretty decent record going to the Claret and Blues’ home ground. One bad record that the Reds hold here is the unfortunate 7-2 loss at the hands of the Brummies here, back in 2020.
Vitality Stadium – AFC Bournemouth
Location: Kings Park, Boscombe, Bournemouth BH7 7AF, United Kingdom
Capacity: 11,364
Dean Court, known as the Vitality Stadium currently, is the home ground of AFC Bournemouth. The Cherries have one of the smallest stadiums in the Premier League.
The small size and capacity make it a decent stadium for away fans to go and watch games.
Gtech Community Stadium – Brentford
Location: Lionel Rd S, Brentford TW8 0RU, United Kingdom
Capacity: 17,250
The Brentford Community Stadium, or the Gtech Community Stadium, is home to Brentford. The stadium is relatively new compared to other grounds in the Premier League. It opened in 2020.
Being a newer stadium, it has modern facilities for the hospitality of away fans.
American Express Community Stadium – Brighton & Hove Albion
Location: Village Way, Brighton BN1 9BL, United Kingdom
Capacity: 31,800
The Falmer Stadium, known as the American Express Community Stadium currently, is the home ground of the Seagulls. It’s also referred to as the Amex and has been Brighton & Hove Albion’s home ground since 2011.
For away fans, it’s one of the most pleasant experiences. It has an excellent view. The atmosphere within the Amex gets loud at times. The Seagulls in recent years are on an upward trajectory and also qualified for the UEFA Europa League for the 2023-24 season.
Turf Moor – Burnley
Location: Turf Moor, 52-56 Harry Potts Way, Burnley BB10 4BX, United Kingdom
Capacity: 21,944
The Clarets return to the first division after a season in the Championship. The club has one of the most vocal fans in the country. Liverpool have an extremely favourable record at this ground, and we hope for it to go on for as long as possible.
Stamford Bridge – Chelsea
Location: Fulham Rd., London SW6 1HS, United Kingdom
Capacity: 41,837
Stamford Bridge is home to one of the most successful clubs in the Premier League era, Chelsea. Being one of the oldest stadiums in the league, the atmosphere around the ground is classic.
There isn’t a lot of space between the home and away sections of the crowd. So it can get pretty aggressive at times. The front rows are close to the pitch as well, which can make it intimidating for visiting sides.
Liverpool vs Chelsea is always one to look out for as these are two of the biggest teams in the country. However, both clubs have overseen too many draws recently, most coming at Stamford Bridge.
Selhurst Park – Crystal Palace
Location: Selhurst, London, SE25; England
Capacity: 25,456
Selhurst Park is home to Crystal Palace. The Holmesdale Road Stand is an imposing section of the stadium for visiting sides.
The view for away fans isn’t the best. The Eagles have some passionate fans. However, Liverpool have had a pretty decent record against Palace at Selhurst Park. The Reds have not lost to Palace since 2017.
Goodison Park – Everton
Location: Goodison Rd, Liverpool L4 4EL, United Kingdom
Capacity: 39,572
Goodison Park is the home ground of Everton. Anfield is approximately 950 meters across Stanley Park from the stadium of our Merseyside rivals.
Toffees are thrown at spectators by a person on the pitch before every game, as is tradition. The three-tiered Main Stand is a sight to behold. It is a tall and imposing structure. It provides a birds-eye view of the game. You can also see Anfield in the distance.
It’s always an exciting affair when the Reds visit the Evertonians.
Craven Cottage – Fulham
Location: Stevenage Rd, London SW6 6HH, United Kingdom
Capacity: 25,700
Craven Cottage hosts sides that come to face Fulham. The stadium sits on the banks of the River Thames. The Cottagers interestingly have a designated section for ‘neutral supporters’ in their ground.
Liverpool against Fulham is hardly a dull affair and guarantees goals. Six games and thirteen goals between the sides ever since Jurgen Klopp took charge of the Reds is not a bad output.
Kenilworth Road – Luton Town
Location: 1 Maple Rd E, Luton LU4 8AW, United Kingdom
Capacity: 37,792
It is the smallest ground in the Premier League this season.
The stadium will be a full-capacity when the big boys of the Premier League come visiting. The Reds have not faced Luton Town under Jurgen Klopp. Hopefully, the first visit to this stadium will yield a positive result for the Reds.
Etihad Stadium – Manchester City
Location: Ashton New Rd, Manchester M11 3FF, United Kingdom
Capacity: 55,097
Manchester City moved to the City of Manchester Stadium, now known as Etihad Stadium, in 2003 from Maine Road. Under new ownership, the Sky Blues have found success over the years. The Reds have had a great newfound rivalry with these lot and the games have been tier A entertainment for fans watching worldwide.
Old Trafford – Manchester United
Location: Sir Matt Busby Way, Old Trafford, Stretford, Manchester M16 0RA, United Kingdom
Capacity: 74,879
Old Trafford, also known as the Theatre of Dreams, is home to Manchester United. The Red Devils are one of Liverpool’s biggest rivals in England. The North-West Derby is always a treat for neutral fans.
United’s home ground is the second-largest stadium in the country. The Red Devils had the better of us for a period of time. However, the Reds have slowly caught up over the years.
St James’ Park – Newcastle United
Location: Newcastle upon Tyne NE1 4ST
Capacity: 52,305
St James’ Park is home to Newcastle United. It’s a huge stadium. The atmosphere around the ground can be electric.
The Geordies were a side to fear under Kevin Keegan. Over the years, Newcastle have dropped in quality. However, visiting the Toons is always a challenging task for Liverpool as now under Eddie Howe, the Magpies are gathering momentum and have qualified for the UEFA Champions League as well.
City Ground – Nottingham Forest
Location: City Ground, West Bridgford, Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, NG2 5FJ
Capacity: 30,445
City Ground hosts sides visiting Nottingham Forest. The stadium sits on the banks of the River Trent. One of the stands in the stadium is named after legendary manager Brian Clough.
Bramall Lane – Sheffield United

The Reds have a good record at the ground under Jurgen Klopp, and long may it continue.
Tottenham Hotspur Stadium – Tottenham Hotspur
Location: 782 High Rd, London N17 0BX, United Kingdom
Capacity: 62,850
Tottenham Hotspur moved to their new stadium from White Hart Lane in 2019. It’s the third-largest stadium in the country. Being new, it’s one of the most modern grounds in England.
The Tottenham Hotspur Stadium has one of the most fascinating atmospheres. The matchups for Liverpool away to the Lilywhites have been pretty even over the years.
London Stadium – West Ham United
Location: Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, London E20 2ST, United Kingdom
Capacity: 60,000
London Stadium is home to West Ham United. The Hammers moved to their new ground from Upton Park in 2016. It’s a modern stadium with state-of-the-art facilities.
The stands are a bit further away from the playing surface. As a result, visiting fans may not be able to get the best view of the game if seated at the back of the upper tier. For Liverpool supporters, going away to West Ham has been a relatively pleasant experience in terms of results.
Molineux Stadium – Wolverhampton Wanderers
Location: Waterloo Rd, Wolverhampton WV1 4QR, United Kingdom
Capacity: 32,050
Wolverhampton Wanderers have been playing their games at the Molineux Stadium since 1889. The Stan Cullis Stand towers over the ground.
Some home fans are housed on the upper tier above the away section. Liverpool have had the better of the Midlanders in terms of results at the stadium over the years.
