Predicted Liverpool Line-up To Face Bournemouth In the Premier League

After an emphatic night at the Etihad, Liverpool are back in Premier League action at Anfield, with Bournemouth being the visitors this weekend.

The Reds made it to the semi-finals of Champions League with a 5-1 aggregate win over Manchester City, in a brilliant two-legged performance.

After outclassing City in the Champions League, Saturday’s game gives the Merseysiders a chance to take another step closer to securing a place in the top-four.

Liverpool ran out 4-0 winners the last time they met Bournemouth, back in December. With players on a high, expect more of the same this time around at Anfield.

Probable Liverpool XI

Formation: 4-3-3

Manager: Jurgen Klopp

Loris Karius (GK)

Karius has been very good in recent weeks and will keep his place against Bournemouth.

Trent Alexander-Arnold (RB)

Alexander-Arnold is enjoying a fantastic season and must start the game on Saturday.

Dejan Lovren (CB)

Lovren was immense in the second leg win over City in the Champions League. The Croatian was solid, agile and was quick to dispel danger. He will be hoping to build on from that game.

Virgil Van Dijk (CB)

Van Dijk has been a rock at the back since joining the Reds in January. Physically solid and aerially dominant, the Dutchman has become indispensable to the squad.

Andrew Robertson (LB)

Robertson has become a regular fixture in the team and is a player in top form going into this game.

Jordan Henderson (CDM)

Henderson missed the second leg against City due to suspension but should return to the team on Saturday.

James Milner (LCM)

Milner’s experience and versatility have been advantageous to the Reds this season. The Englishman must start against Bournemouth.

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain (RCM)

Oxlade-Chamberlain works very hard for the team. He can cause a lot of problems to Bournemouth’s defence with his blistering pace and skill.

Sadio Mane (LW)

Mane has been outstanding in recent weeks and will be the biggest attacking threat to the Cherries on Saturday.

Roberto Firmino (RW)

Firmino was fantastic against City in midweek but on Saturday, he could be deployed on the right-wing in place of Mohamed Salah, who deserves a rest.

Danny Ings (ST)

With Firmino on the right, Ings will be the man to lead Liverpool’s attack at the weekend. The former Burnley man has not had enough game time this season and would look to prove a point against Bournemouth.
