Liverpool stayed undefeated in their pre-season, thanks to a 2-0 win over Blackburn Rovers. The Reds got the goals from Daniel Sturridge and Lazar Markovic in the second half and will now look forward to their US tour.
However, we should have scored in the fifth minute as Dominic Solanke was brought down in the box but James Milner saw his penalty get saved by David Raya.
While Blackburn were a bit edgy in the game, we did have some clear-cut chances as Adam Lallana hit the bar and saw an effort come off the line.
The scores were 0-0 at half-time and Jurgen Klopp made 10 changes to the side which saw Daniel Sturridge get the armband and Naby Keita perform miracles in the heart of the park.
The new signing formed a great understanding with Sturridge and the pair created a number of chances. Sturridge then played in Markovic for the first goal of the game before the Englishman scored the team’s second goal after great work from Keita.
The Reds will now be facing a number of tougher sides in the US but the fans were certainly impressed with the performance of the team and Keita. Here are some of the best reactions to the win.

Keita take a bow. The thought of him linking up with our front 3 gets me hard.
