Hector Bellerin Liverpool

Arsenal manager Unai Emery is hopeful of Hector Bellerin’s participation against Liverpool at the weekend.

The Spaniard had to be replaced in the 2-2 draw against Crystal Palace at half-time. However, Bellerin was seen signing autographs after the game, according to the Metro.

Speaking after the game, Emery was quoted by the Metro as saying:

“Yes, he’s injured.

“I hope it’s not a big injury, but he had muscular pains.

“I don’t know [whether he’s a doubt for the Liverpool game next Saturday].”

The Gunners were on an incredible 11-match winning run but came unstuck against Palace at Selhurst Park. Arsenal are currently fourth in the Premier League just four points behind the Reds, and the clash at the Emirates will be another test of our title credentials.

Liverpool are unbeaten in the league and have already played Tottenham, Manchester City and Chelsea. The Reds lead the table prior to the game between Manchester City and Tottenham.

Liverpool have a slight advantage for Saturday’s clash against the Gunners. Emery’s men play against Blackpool in the Carabao Cup on Wednesday and then face us at the weekend.

The report adds that the Gunners are missing Laurent Koscielny, Sead Kolasinac, Kostanstinos Mavropanos and Nacho Monreal through injury.

If the Reds can neutralise Arsenal’s attack on Saturday, we will have a great chance of coming from London with all three points in the bag.

We have scored four goals in each of our last two games and hopefully, we will repeat that feat at the Emirates soon.
