Opinion: This Super Trio Will Benefit The Most Under Jurgen Klopp

3 Players Who Will Benefit The Most Under Jurgen Klopp

Liverpool fans are excited to see Jurgen Klopp managing Liverpool. They are all excited to see Klopp’s heavy metal football. Liverpool will undergo some changes under Klopp and the fans will be looking out for it. Some players are going to shine under Klopp while others will struggle under the German. Here we look at three players who can shine under Klopp.

1. Emre Can

Emre Can himself will be very excited to work under Klopp. Klopp knows Can from his days in the Bundesliga. Can played for Bayer Leverkusen while Klopp managed Borussia Dortmund. Emre Can who is only 20 has a lot of potential in him. His versatility will give him more chances to shine under Klopp. Can shined as a centre back under Brendan Rodgers last season and he was often made to play as a centre back often. He had already stated that his preferred position is in the centre of the midfield and now with the arrival of Klopp, he will be made to play as a central midfielder. The fact that Can is the only German in the Liverpool squad will add up to his advantage. He was given a start as CM in Klopp’s first game as Liverpool manager against Spurs and Can was one of Liverpool’s best players that day. He will be looking to hold down a starting eleven place in the Liverpool team under Klopp.

2. Alberto Moreno

The young Spaniard had a mixed first season at Liverpool. He impressed as an attacking full back but failed to impress as a defending one. He has developed slightly in his defending, but now with the arrival of Jurgen Klopp he will be hoping to turn into a complete full back. Klopp likes to make space for his full-backs in a game by making the attacking players to draw out the opponent players to the centre of the pitch. This tactic would make it possible for Moreno to show off his attacking skills. We can expect more goals and assists from the young Spaniard this season.

3. Roberto Firmino

Firmino was Liverpool’s one of the most exciting transfers in this transfer window, but he has not been able to shine in front of the Kop. It was mainly due to the fact that Rodger had to play him out of position to play Coutinho in his preferred position and to bring the best out of Coutinho. Klopp has been a fan of Firmino during his days at Borussia Dortmund. Firmino was one of the best-attacking midfielders in the Bundesliga. Firmino who has just returned from injury will be looking forward to work with Klopp and kick-start his Liverpool career. Firmino will possibly become Liverpool’s Marco Reus. We can expect Firmino to score and assist a lot of goals this season under Jurgen Klopp.

These are the players that I think will shine the most under Klopp. Players like Divock Origi, Adam Lallana, Danny Ings can benefit a lot from Klopp’s arrival at Liverpool. It is known fact that Klopp prefers players with high work rate and there are a bunch of players with high work rate. These players will love to work under Klopp and Klopp would love to work with them. Although, Klopp is a great manager we cannot expect a sudden turn-around in Liverpool’s season but his arrival will bring back the standard to Liverpool.
