Let’s be honest, in spite of not doing well this season when he was with Aston Villa, Christian Benteke was pretty much unplayable. Tearing apart teams and scoring goals with half a chance were his trademark moves that we witnessed quite regularly. No wonder that he made a £32.5 million move to Liverpool with a price tag that was justified.
Now a season later he is spending most of his time on the bench and has pretty much been playing the role of a Liverpool fan rather than a player. Naturally the Reds are looking to offload him in the summer and it appears that a move may be in the making for him to play at Turin next season.
As strange it may sound, Juventus are said to be interested in the big Belgian to take up the position of Mario Manduzic used to. The Old Lady already has two excellent strikers in Dybala and Morata and Benteke will likely be on the bench again but he will probably find more success in Italian league than the rigorous Premier League.
