As per reports from Mirror, Mohamed Salah had almost joined Liverpool before signing a contract with Chelsea in 2014. Is that a subtle hint at what direction the player wants to go?

The Egyptian has revealed that Liverpool had chased him for some time and were in the middle of the negotiation. He too were interested in the club as he had admired Liverpool’s game from some time. However then Blues boss, Jose Mourinho had personally called Salah and things changed.

Now that the Portuguese is no longer at Stamford Bridge and the player himself is on loan at AS Roma, may be that is a hint that the player would like to move to Liverpool in the summer. Also considering that Liverpool are in a better shape than Chelsea at this moment and with the shuffling expected at Chelsea Salah may be trapped at Stamford Bridge.

Will Liverpool bite the bait? Let us wait till the summer transfer window.
