Joe Allen’s contract has just one year left at Anfield but since the club has not offered him a new one, a host of Premier League clubs and a La Liga club are showing interest in the player as per the Sun.
The report from the Sun states that while the interest from Swansea and Watford are known, Sevilla has joined the race to sign the midfielder. It is not that Allen has not played well especially considering how well he covered for their injured captain Jordan Henderson. However it is believed that the player may not fit into the future plan of Jurgen Klopp and an exit in the summer is very likely.
Liverpool has refused to sell him to Swansea in the January transfer window and the understanding within the club is that the player should be sold abroad to avoid domestic competition. Jurgen Klopp has praised the midfielder but nonetheless looks like an exit is on the cards.
