Liverpool wants Mats Hummels just like many other top clubs in the continent but what Liverpool has going for them over the rivals is a certain someone called Jurgen Klopp. Now the Reds have been handed a boost in their chase for the defender as the German defender has refused to commit his future to Dortmund.
As per his interview with Bild, the highly rated defender is considering his future at his current club Borussia Dortmund and wants to win trophies. He has expressed concern over his age and lack of trophies and has hinted a move may be on the cards with the hope of winning silverware.
The defender scored against Liverpool in the last encounter in the Europe League and the clubs are set to meet again on Thursday for the second leg. Mats Hummels also is wanted by other European heavyweights like Manchester United, Barcelona and Real Madrid.
