One player who has everyone impressed in the Premier League with his skills and movements this season has been the PFA player of the year award winner Riyad Mahrez. The Algerian’s movement has somehow reminded us of the style of Lionel Messi and several Premier League big boys are interested in his signature.
However, leading the chase are said to be Arsenal and now Liverpool has joined the party. Mahrez’s agent Kamel Bengougam has announced that the possibility of the player staying back at King Power Stadium is 50/50. Mahrez has expressed his interest to stay in the Premier League and Liverpool wants to make Anfield his next destination.
A move towards Liverpool is most likely going to cost the Reds a bomb as the current club of the player is going to play Champions League football and Liverpool’s entry is yet to be decided. However, if Liverpool manages to win the Europa League and gain entry to Champions League then maybe Mahrez coming to Anfield has more chance than 50/50
