The season reaches its finale as Liverpool face West Brom in their last league fixture for this season. A season which has had a mix of moments and memories comes to an end as the Reds will be looking to finish things off in style. Klopp has the all important final on Thursday and he will definitely make a lot of changes to the side that faced Chelsea midweek. Here is a look at the predicted lineup for the game.
Formation: 4-2-3-1
Goalkeeper: Simon Mignolet
As this is the last fixture and three points will do Liverpool a big favor, Klopp should go with Mignolet as he was decent in the game against Chelsea.
Defence: Flanagan, Lucas, Skrtel, Moreno
Klopp will be looking for a lot of changes in defence to keep his key men fit for the final and the back for should include Flanagan as the right back. His ability to run at defenders and make those tackles will help Liverpool in this game. Lucas and Skrtel should partner up at the back as they had a good linkup in the game against Watford. Moreno should start this game as the left back as his attacking game will give Liverpool the width and the edge over West Brom.
Midfield: Allen, Stewart
Joe Allen should be the pivot for Liverpool in the nuffield midfield as they rely heavily on his services for this game. Klopp should play Stewart in the defensive midfield position to give the much needed rest to Can. This combination has worked for the Reds in the past and they have managed to win the midfield battle in the past. Klopp will be hoping for the same again.
Attacking midfield: Ibe, Firmino, Ojo
Klopp should play Ibe on the right wing as he is good in making the counter attack runs and torment full backs. His ability to cross has also improved and we all know his striking skills. He should partner with Ojo playing on the left wing. Ojo came in at the 88th minute against Chelsea and delivered that brilliant cross which led to the goal. He is expected to grow a lot under Klopp. Firmino should start the game in the central role as Klopp would need some experience up front.
Striker: Christian Benteke
The Belgian striker should start this game as Klopp would be looking to give Sturridge rest before the finals. Also. Benteke was good against Watford and Klopp would hope him to repeat a similar performance.
