28 year old Gonzalo Higuain has broken the goal scoring record of Serie A last season. Having scored 36 goals for Napoli the player has come under huge spotlight across Europe.

There also has been reports of the player not willing to renew his contract at the club and that Napoli may decide to cash in on the player while they have the opportunity. A report from Daily Mirror has said that the former Real Madrid player and Argentine international prefers a move to Anfield rather than its rivals. Arsenal and Manchester United too has shown interest in Higuain. However, according to the report the player is flattered by Klopp’s interest and willing to join Liverpool rather than any other club even though there will be no European football.

The Argentine international is not a bargain deal though given that he has a massive £65 million release clause. Well, its not like Liverpool does not have that kind of money.
