Liverpool will look to reinforce their defense, especially given that Alberto Moreno has, for the most part, disappointed the fans and the club. A possible replacement that has been linked with Liverpool for that position is Marc Bartra from Barcelona.
According to report from L’Esportiu, the Reds are keen on the player and could sign the 25 year old in a permanent deal in the summer. The player has struggled for first team football ever since he broke into the team and has made only 103 appearances since 2010.
Manchester United also have been linked with a move for Bartra but according reports in Spain, Liverpool has a better chance as the player is keen for a move to Anfield and to play under Klopp rather than Jose Mourinho. A few notable names will be leaving Liverpool in the summer and signing like Batra will bring experience to the comparatively new team. Hopefully the reports are correct.
