Recruiting young, talented players for the club always is a gamble, but also is a much rewarding experience for the fans and the club alike. Liverpool seems to keep this tradition and according to reports from Irpinia News, an Italian outlet, the club has a deal in place for Samuel Bastien.
The player is only 19 years old and plays for Anderlecht. He was on loan last season at Avellino and has made 31 appearances for the Serie B club. Apart from his club exploits, he has also received a call-up from Belgium under-21 squad. While his experience in the top level football is limited the Reds believe that he will grow into a fine player. As a result, there seems to be a deal in place between Liverpool and Anderlecht in the range of £4 million. While it is possible that Liverpool may loan him out as well, the signing of youngsters is a promising sign for the club.
