Liverpool’s misery with their goalkeeping position seems to have no end. Ever since Pepe Reina left the club has not been able to find anybody suitable that can be trusted upon. No wonder there is a talk of the Spaniard returning to Anfield.
The current goalkeeper Simon Mignolet is nothing short of an inconsistent performer at the best. While he has renewed his contract towards the end of last season, Liverpool has secured the signing of Loris Karius from Mainz recently and if reports from Corierre dello Sport are true then Pepe Reina is also going to return. Simon Mignolet’s days at Anfield seems to be coming to an end, well at least his position as first-choice goalkeeper is. Reina has made 394 appearances for the Reds before he left in 2014.
Liverpool will be letting go of Adam Bogdan it is always a good option to keep three goalkeepers for the team.
